HOW MUCH FIGHT DO YOU HAVE IN YOU?

uhammad Ali was making a comeback at age 31 at a time when many people thought he was over the hill. In the second round against Ken Norton (the hardest puncher ever) Ali’s jaw was broken so badly it needed to be fully reconstructed afterwards. Not only were the jaw bones broken but also the tendons and muscles were severed. Some doctors thought that if Ali was hit like that again during the fight, the whole jaw could have come off and landed on the canvas.

Ali fought on for another 10 rounds and won the fight, then went on to regain the world title.

That performance required an unimaginable level of mental toughness and human courage. Perhaps no other human in history could have done that.

What drove Ali to win was that it was a fight he couldn’t lose. It was more than a fight (as were all his fights) He was the standard bearer for black civil rights. He was not fighting for himself, he was fighting for a much bigger cause. Ali knew he only had a voice as long as he kept winning. As a loser he would have no voice. Losing was not an option.

Back to Canterbury Property Services and the land of wealth creation and personal success, don’t see your financial fight for yourself, see it for those around you, those you hold close and those who will come after you. Too many people make a safe and perhaps meek path through life, when they had more to give.
