A recent United States study reported over 350 logical reasons for investing in real estate. We haven’t read that report, but here are our four favourite reasons:
- Your wealth increases even when you sleep if you own growth assets i.e. things that go up in value without your personal input or effort.
- Structures can be put in place that cause (or force) your debts to decrease and then disappear – even pre-existing debts.
- The net worth you create from owning real estate can be used to give you a passive income that replaces your wage many times over.
- Your time can become your own. Rich people “own” more free time than poor people. This is because they get an income without working (“personal exertion”).
